§ 18-421. Authorization.

The state legislature has in Minn. Stats. chs. 103F and 462, delegated the authority to local governmental units to adopt regulations designed to lessen flood losses. Minn. Stats. ch. 103F further stipulates that communities subject to recurrent flooding must participate and maintain eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program. Therefore, the city has adopted this division.
